SKSE adalah utility atau tool yang sangat penting di dunia modding Skyrim, baik itu di versi Skyrim LE ( Oldrim ), Special Edition dan yang paling terbaru Skyrim Anniversary Edition.

Tanpa tool ini banyak sekali mod yang tidak akan bisa berfungsi khususnya mod" yang memerlukan scripts. Sebagai Race Menu mod,SkyUI dsb.

Dan untungnya team SKSE masih mau membuat update untuk Skyrim AE walaupun mungkin saja masih belum sempurna.
